Hello world! I know I havn't been blogging for a little while now, but I just didn't know what to blog about, because nothing important happened. But today the weather is crap, and I got up waaay to early to go to work.. (3 long morning hours..) And now I'm just sitting here in my bed listening to music. And normally I'd be listening to One Direction, but not today. Instead I've had Eminems Mockingbird on replay for the past 30 minutes. And the song is like 8 years old, which means that I was only about 8 or 9 when I first heard it. And back then I didn't understand the song, because I didn't know how to speak english at that time. (Started in 3rd grade = 9 years) And I kinda forgot about the song, but then I was on youtube and I remembered "Hey, Eminem has some awesome songs!" And BAM, here I am. And as I was sitting here drowning in deep lyrics I got all sad. Because this isn't just good lyrics, this is a true story and it makes me so sad that some people have to go through what he has. And another reason why i love this song is because it's for his daughter. And I don't know about you, but I think a writing a song with lyrics that you really mean and feel, that's some of the most affective things you can do.
You can really feel him being sorry for all that happened and all the things she saw.
"Now hush little baby don't you cry, everything's gonna be alright. Stiffen that upper lip up little lady I told ya, daddy sit and hold ya through the night. I know mommy's not here right now, and we don't know why we feel how we feel inside. It may seem a little crazy pretty baby, but I promise momma's gonna be alright."
Touches my heart :'-)
Now I'm not the type of person that cries at things, I've never cried at a movie, and I saw The Lion King, Marly & Me, Bambi (almost!). And I didn't cry at this song either, but at 1 a.m. and you are tired... I got close!
I'm sorry if I haven't been as "funny" as usual, but I don't think what I've just written about was funny. My crazy self will probably be bask next time!:-)
